Stock market holiday and trading hours

We understand that time is money, but sometimes money also needs to rest.

In 2020, the U.S. market will be closed on the following days:

  1. New Year’s Day (January 1)
  2. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (January 18)
  3. Washington's Birthday (February 15)
  4. Good Friday (April 2)
  5. Memorial Day (May 31)
  6. Observance of Independence Day (July 5)
  7. Labor Day (September 76)
  8. Thanksgiving Day (November 25)
  9. Observance of Christmas (December 24)

Trading hours are the regular market hours, which go from 9:30A.M. to 4P.M. Eastern Time.
