How does Passfolio work?

Passfolio is a mobile trading app on a mission to expand the global economy by giving people around the world access to US stocks. Passfolio is a product of Panchain, Inc. that uses the services of its subsidiaries Passfolio Financial, LLC and Passfolio Securities, LLC, a broker-dealer member of FINRA and SIPC. You can find FINRA BrokerCheck reports for Passfolio Securities, LLC here.

Passfolio charges no commission fees¹ in stock trading, which helps investors keep more of their money. We make money in other ways, such as:

  • Interest on uninvested cash;
  • Rebates from market makers and trading venues;
  • Forex fees.

Passfolio also supports fractional shares, allowing users to buy as little as $1 of any stock - even those that cost thousands of dollars.² All shares are held by Passfolio’s partner clearing broker, DriveWealth.

¹ Securities less than $5 cost $0.02/share. Please see our fees here.
